Gemini 1.5 Pro — One Million Token Context Window

Google announced Gemini 1.5 Pro featuring a one-million-token context window — enough to process approximately one hour of video, 11 hours of audio, 30,000 lines of code, or 700,000 words in a single prompt. This was a ten-fold increase over the previous largest context window among major models. Google attributed the capability to a Mixture of Experts architecture, which also made the model more computationally efficient than Gemini 1.0 Ultra.
